IronStone meets Driftwood

We wanted to share a few comments Tom Fullmer of IronStone Bank was kind enough to make after we hosted a movie event for his company and the law firm of Bateman Seidel in our Green Room:

"I wanted to take a moment and tell you how pleased I am with the staff at Gracie's, The Driftwood, and The Hotel DeLuxe. Gregg Schillinger went out of his way to make us feel welcome... The set-up was perfect and the food and attention to detail superb."

Proving the best way to make friends is with free drinks

Willamette Week's ever-colorful columnist Byron Beck wrote about his afternoon testing our newest signature cocktail: The Woody. You can read the whole story here.

Here's a preview of what he has to say: "Although it was a wee bit early (2:30 pm) to down six alcohol drinks in one sitting (talk about a happy hour), it didn’t seem to slow any of us down as we tried to decide which best embodied the now slightly defused "Woody." After many debates, I think we came up with something that not only tasted good, but looked good too. I don’t really remember. I was already drunk."
